Job summary

Ivory Plains Recovery Center is seeking a Manager of Food and Nutritional Services to oversee daily operations for meals and beverages for clients, staff and guests at two IA facilities. You will direct menus, diets, safety, budgeting, and staffing, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality nutrition services.

The role requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-focused service, with onsite work at the facilities and supervision of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Four or more years’ experience in food service.
• Experience preparing food for institutions is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine daily food quantities and supplies for menus, snacks and special meals.
• Develop menus and diets ensuring nutritional adequacy and client acceptance.
• Identify problems in care plan/diet orders and report to dietitian.
• Lead a team through hiring, orientation, performance assessment, coaching, scheduling and coaching to meet department goals.
• Manage staff productivity and contingency staffing; supervise budgeting and expenditures.
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen; enforce safety precautions and sanitation.
