Job summary

Ivory Plains Recovery Center in Adair, IA seeks a Manager of Food & Nutritional Services to oversee daily kitchen operations, menu planning, and dietary care for clients, staff and guests.

You will lead and develop the culinary team, manage budgets and vendors, ensure food safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the dietitian to implement approved menus. This on-site, salary-based position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or related field preferred.
• Four or more years’ experience in food service.
• SERV Safe or similar food safety certification required where applicable.
• Certified Dietary Manager coursework or active pursuit of license/certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Determines food quantities for daily menus and special needs meals.
• Develops nutritionally adequate menus and supervises their execution.
• Leads staffing, scheduling, coaching and performance management.
• Manages budget and vendor contracts; ensures safety and compliance.
