Job summary

PacArctic, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced FOIA Analyst to support PAC and our customer in Savannah, GA. This is a 100% onsite position requiring the ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.

You will analyze FOIPA records, coordinate with agencies, apply exemptions, and maintain clear case notes. Training will be provided; typing test and basic qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of specialized work experience in related roles.
• Must obtain and maintain US government issued security clearance.
• Must successfully complete a computer-based typing assessment (90% accuracy, 11 WPM).

Responsibilities

• Analyze FOIPA administrative case notes, searches, and requester correspondence.
• Support the processing of FOIPA litigations.
• Preview imported records for responsiveness and context.
• Search and check systems for prior releases and duplicate requests.
• Identify and apply appropriate processing approaches per SOPs and policies.
• Create and maintain clear and concise case notes in systems.
• Identify and appropriately handle Other Government Agency (OGA) information.
• Perform line-by-line reviews of records and apply FOIPA exemptions (redactions).
• Consult with subject matter experts from various agency components and OGAs.
• Coordinate high visibility releases with agency components and OGAs.
• Respond to FOIPA administrative appeals and litigation requirements.
• Conduct background research while processing FOIPA cases.
• Maintain performance to deliver timely, high-quality work across multiple projects.
• Work independently as part of an integrated team with strong time management.
