Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Freedom of Information Act Analyst in Coronado, CA. The role supports NAVSPECWARCOM OGC with FOIA/PA processing, document redaction, and tracking across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FOIA/PA processing, DoD regulations, and Navy correspondence with strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Travel up to CONUS and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general administrative experience in document production and retention.
• 5 years of FOIA/PA request processing with exemptions.
• 5 years of experience using DoD Regulation 5400.7-R and related programs.
• 3 years using Navy correspondence manual.
• 3 years using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
• 1 year using Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initiating and preparing required draft documentation for FOIA/PA requests.
• Coordinate and track tasks with NAVSPECWARCOM and staff through HQ directorates and SJA.
• Prepare interim responses, acknowledgement letters, and final response letters citing exemptions.
• Input and update FOIA/donor databases and generate periodic reports.
• Support OGC administrative functions including subpoenas, litigation holds, and file management.
