D Duke Energy is seeking a Supervisor of Vehicle Maintenance to lead a large fleet operations team across multiple garages, ensuring maintenance and repair work is completed safely, correctly, and on time. This onsite role requires driving a safety-first culture and strong customer coordination.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, managing budgets, coordinating with Fleet GO staff, and developing technicians while maintaining compliance with DOT and ANSI standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Five (5) or more years of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must live within one hour from work location.
• Class A CDL license (preferred).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage garage operations and ensure timely, safe, compliant maintenance.
• Monitor garage expenditures to support budget and incentive goals.
• Provide safety training and enforce safety standards; foster a strong safety culture.
• Ensure 24/7 staffing coverage and support storm restoration.
• Serve as the local point of contact for fleet, customer, equipment, and facilities issues.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technicians and maintain bargaining unit contract knowledge.
