Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Supervisor of Vehicle Maintenance to lead the transportation fleet maintenance across multiple garages. This onsite role focuses on safety, quality, and timely maintenance, overseeing a diverse workforce and ensuring compliance with DOT and ANSI standards.

Relocation assistance is available. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and proven ability to manage budgets and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) or more years of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must live within one hour from work location.

Responsibilities

• Manage garage operations, ensuring timely, quality work in compliance with safety and standards.
• Foster a strong safety culture with training and issue resolution.
• Complete field reviews and audits to verify progress and quality.
• Monitor garage expenditures to support budgets and incentives.
• Ensure 24/7 staffing coverage and support storm restoration efforts.
• Serve as the local point of contact for fleet, customer, equipment, and facilities issues.
• Recruit and develop technicians, including training and documentation.
