Job summary

Kimball Midwest in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Close and Reporting Manager to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring GAAP-compliant statements and accurate reporting. The role coordinates data from Finance, Sales, and other departments and guides the close process.

The onsite position also supervises Accounting Analysts, supports external reporting, and monitors new accounting standards while coordinating with external auditors and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• CPA certification is required or active.
• Proven supervisory experience in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Marketing and other departments to gather data.
• Supervise and mentor Accounting Analysts, providing guidance and development.
