American Homes 4 Rent LP is seeking a Field Technician to expedite tenant turn processes and uphold property quality across a portfolio of single-family homes. The role emphasizes coordinating moves, inspections, and contractor oversight to meet company standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of residential maintenance experience, or 5 years in related work. Proficiency with tools, safety knowledge, and CRM systems is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or two years in residential/property maintenance.
• EPA certification or HVAC Type II preferred.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Experience with Apple iPad, CRM systems, and HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property inventory by conducting tenant turns and inspections.
• Coordinate tenant move-outs including key exchanges and condition reports.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with standards.
• Attend eviction property set-outs and hearings as needed.
• Perform field tasks using ladders and tools per guidelines.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, garage door, irrigation, and electrical issues.
