American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Field Technician Turn to expedite tenant turnover and uphold property quality. You will manage a portfolio of single-family units, coordinate move-outs, inspect contractor work, and perform self-work as needed.

Strong toolbox skills and safety training are essential for success. The role requires a valid license and the ability to lift heavy items, with a competitive hourly pay and quarterly bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum two years in residential/property maintenance or five years if no degree.
• Familiar with basic hand/power tools and OSHA safety basics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property inventory and perform tenant turns and move-outs.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate move-out processes and track property conditions.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, garage door and irrigation issues.
• Operate ladders and perform self-work following guidelines.
