Job summary

LayerCake, a Blue Alliance MSP, seeks a Field Services Technician II to perform onsite hardware installations, workstation deployments, and network equipment rack-and-stack at client sites in Phoenix, AZ. You will also refresh devices, handle break/fix work, and document serial numbers and configurations.

The role requires regular travel, strong organizational skills, and a professional client-facing presence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT field services, desktop support or hands-on hardware roles.
• Knowledge of hardware installation, workstation configuration, basic networking, cabling and peripherals.
• Ability to manage multiple site visits with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite hardware installations and workstation deployments.
• Rack-and-stack network equipment and cabling at client sites.
• Provide break/fix support requiring physical presence and document all onsite work.
