Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Charleston, SC is seeking an Engineering Representative to provide top-tier technical support for Boeing Commercial aircraft across the Charleston region. The role is onsite and includes hands-on engineering activities, certification work, and direct collaboration with Boeing teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will troubleshoot issues on final assembly, assist with lab testing and program development, and serve as the on-site technical liaison to coordinate

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Aircraft final assembly; rework/repair of LRUs/LRMs per CMM and configuration management requirements.
• Experience with hardware/software integration and aerospace standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site daily with Boeing teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during final assembly and customer delivery for Boeing programs in the region.
• Act as a hands-on technical resource during high-priority tasks to maintain production and delivery schedules
• Provide engineering support for certification activities
• Assist Boeing laboratories with program development, testing, analysis, and evaluations
• Offer on-call support during critical production periods and holidays as needed
• Partner with Boeing stakeholders to mitigate technical challenges and ensure aircraft meet quality and delivery standards
• Maintain clear status updates and risk/solution communication with Boeing and internal leadership
