Job summary

SkySpecs is seeking a Field Supervisor for the Internal Inspection Team to lead on-site blade inspections, manage daily field operations, and ensure safety compliance. You will mentor technicians, coordinate with HSE, and oversee training, audits, and site procedures while traveling to wind farms on a 3 weeks on/1 week off rotation.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in wind turbine operations and a proven SkySpecs field background, with strong leadership and meticulous documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in wind turbine operations, blade inspections, rope access, climbing operations, or related field services.
• 1+ year proven experience as a SkySpecs-employed Field Technician.
• Strong understanding of turbine safety procedures and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and worksite control during daily field operations.
• Ensure climbing, turbine access, rescue readiness, and blade-entry activities are conducted safely and in compliance with requirements.
• Verify safe operational status of turbines prior to inspection activities.
• Lead and enforce compliance with company policies and customer procedures.
• Conduct pre-job briefings, hazard assessments, and daily safety discussions.
• Maintain accountability for PPE, climbing gear, rescue equipment, and inspection systems.
