Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Flowserve pumps, seals, and related equipment at customer sites across multiple industries.

The role emphasizes real-time technical support, on-site problem solving, and providing recommendations for repairs and upgrades. The FST will work directly with customer personnel, oversee repair cycles, ensure proper startup performance, and train customers on operating Flowserve products.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and organization skills.
• Capable of reading blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Make direct in-person service calls to customers.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Lead work crews and collaborate with customer personnel.
• Oversee repair cycles: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and assembly.
• Ensure on-schedule installation and proper startup performance.
• Train customers on operating and maintaining Flowserve equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and materials charged.
• Travel, including globally, for extended periods; overtime as needed.
