Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Services team onsite at a customer location in Phoenix, AZ. You will be the on-site technical resource supporting Microenvironments products and handling FOUPs, FOSBs, and reticle pods to ensure performance and quality.

You will inspect, diagnose and replace components, complete detailed service reports, and coordinate with customer engineering and operations to resolve issues. Occasional travel of about 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Strong communication skills with customer-facing capability.
• Ability to interpret technical data and make quality decisions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for FOUP, FOSB, and reticle pod systems within customer fabs.
• Complete incoming inspections of reticle carriers when received at the customer.
• Respond to quality alerts, field issues, and rework activities with urgency and precision.
• Inspect, diagnose, and replace components to maintain product performance and reliability.
• Generate and deliver detailed service reports and documentation to customers.
• Communicate directly with customer engineering and operations teams regarding findings and corrective actions.
• Assist in coordinating possible returns to an Entegris site for rework or investigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external tool vendors to investigate issues and support root cause analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and quality standards.
