Job summary

Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of industrial tools and software solutions at customer facilities, primarily in Anderson, SC. You will work closely with customers to solve technical challenges, provide training, and ensure reliable equipment performance.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving, and the ability to travel frequently across the U.S.

Qualifications

STEM degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
5+ years implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and mechanical solutions in manufacturing.
Strong skills configuring low-code apps and Pivotware/DeMeter/Nexonar/ARG.
Excellent problem-solving and independent diagnostics capabilities.
Strong communication and customer service to train customers and teams.
Ability to work independently in field-based environments.
Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and Canada (occasional Mexico travel).

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Desoutter and Chicago Pneumatic tools and software.
Configure and support Pivotware, DeMeter, Nexonar, ARG, and tightening systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and calibration of tools and related equipment.
Provide technical training and support to customers and internal teams.
Troubleshoot mechanical and software issues and implement corrective actions.
Document service activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
