Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Field Quality Lead II to support quality management on energy infrastructure projects. This role focuses on field QC activities, inspections, and coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

The ideal candidate has an electrical construction background, a quality control mindset, and OSHA certification. Travel is expected up to 90% across sites, with hands-on oversight on active construction activities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 4+ years quality control/assurance experience.
• Strong understanding of quality inspections and programs.
• Strong electrical construction background; experience in substation and transmission systems.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and environmental considerations.
• Experience in surveillance oversight programs.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality activities and QC inspections per ITPs and specs.
• Participate in reviews and audits.
• Identify issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Incorporate Factory Acceptance Testing and QA/QC testing into project plans.
• Participate in project quality, construction and safety meetings.
• Coordinate third-party testing and inspections.
• Hands-on quality oversight on active construction sites.
• Adhere to internal standards and procedures.
