Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resident Project Representative I to support building engineering services across multiple facilities. You will read drawings, track field activities, prepare pay estimates, and participate in progress meetings to ensure contract compliance and quality outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to travel to client sites for project support and field work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Technology or related field.
• Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
• Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's activities, and the labor, equipment and materials used.
• Review construction materials for Contract compliance.
• Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance.
• Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings.
• Conduct observations of installation and testing of completed equipment and systems.
