Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Field Procurement Representative to support onsite construction projects near Cartersville, GA. You will work with field teams, project management, engineering and suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials, equipment and services at the job site.

You will manage requisitions, create purchase orders, and maintain documentation while complying with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience without a degree.
• OSHA and mandatory training for onsite positions.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding including background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Source project materials, equipment, rentals, and services for onsite construction.
• Prepare bidding, evaluation, negotiations, and post‑award documents for field procurement.
• Convert requisitions into purchase orders following procedures.
• Coordinate procurement with Project Controls, Legal, Risk, and others.
• Support expediting, delivery coordination, and issue resolution to meet schedules.
• Communicate with suppliers about orders, schedules, and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate field procurement records and assist with audits.
