Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Field Engineering Manager for the Phoenix site to coordinate and manage on-site engineering activities, ensuring design and codes compliance through construction and handover.

You will lead field engineers, support construction management, resolve technical issues, coordinate with home office Engineering, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline or equivalent
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary engineering on major projects
• Strong knowledge of design criteria, materials, and construction processes
• Proficient with engineering software and document control practices
• Understanding of procurement, contracting and project controls

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site engineering activities to ensure design and standards compliance
• Lead field engineering team and assign technical personnel for construction, commissioning, and handover
• Provide technical support to Construction Management Team and contractors
• Manage field change processes, RFIs, and look for timely resolutions
• Plan training programs and coordinate with site management for resource development
• Coordinate permits, inspections, and QA processes on-site
• Support Construction Execution Plan and Field Engineering section development
• Monitor constructability, review CWP submittals, ITPs and method statements
• Ensure timely resolution of cross-discipline clashes and site documentation control
• Support HS&E compliance on site
