Job summary

JARBO is hiring a Field Engineer in Burley, Idaho for a large‑scale food waste‑to‑energy facility. You’ll support construction, installation, commissioning and startup activities on site, working with contractors and trades to bring complex industrial systems to life.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, hands‑on field experience, and the ability to read drawings, troubleshoot issues, and manage field documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience supporting construction, operations, maintenance, field engineering, or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Burley, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support during construction and installation activities.
• Work directly with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Monitor field activities to ensure design requirements conformity.
• Assist with technical troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Conduct inspections and support quality assurance efforts.
• Coordinate field changes and construction documentation updates.
• Support project schedules and daily construction activities.
• Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Promote a safe and efficient jobsite environment.
