Job summary

SIMCO Electronics in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Field Service Technician C to calibrate IMTE across acoustical, chemical, dimensional, RF/microwave, and other disciplines in the field.

You will follow established procedures, maintain standards, and deliver high-quality service to customers on onsite jobs while communicating clearly with account managers and colleagues to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Proficient in general math, algebra, and basic trig.
• Understanding of statistics and measurement uncertainty.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Basic to intermediate troubleshooting and equipment alignment skills.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate IMTE in multiple disciplines to published specifications.
• Maintain calibration standards and perform maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Follow calibration procedures from blueprints and technical requirements.
• Record calibration data accurately and efficiently.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions.
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
• Interact professionally with customers and account managers to ensure timely communication.
• Transport equipment to and from onsite locations.
