Job summary

Lyte Fiber, LLC is seeking a motivated Service Delivery Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic services for residential and commercial subscribers. This on-site role requires traveling to customer locations, performing installations, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have basic networking knowledge, strong communication skills, and a safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; training provided for fiber techs.
• Basic understanding of networking principles and fiber optics.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair FTTX services for residential and business customers.
• Perform aerial or underground fiber drop installations and in-home wiring per standards.
• Configure CPE devices (ONTs, routers) to ensure network connectivity.
• Educate customers on using installed hardware and services; provide technical guidance.
• Maintain safety, organize tools, and document installation records accurately.
• Respond to dispatches and support schedules to meet service commitments.
