Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support a federal design-build renovation project in Bremerton, Washington. The QCM will lead the Contractor Quality Control program, ensure compliance with contract requirements, government standards, and project specs.

The role requires active CQM/CQC and EM 385-1-1 certifications, 5+ years of QC experience, and 2+ years as QCM on federal projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong understanding of federal construction processes, quality standards, inspections, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Quality Control Manager (QCM) for the project and act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for all definable features of work.
• Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and design documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate closely with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, government representatives, and design teams.
• Track deficiencies, oversee corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Maintain quality control documentation, reports, testing records, and inspection logs.
• Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates throughout all phases of construction.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal construction standards, safety regulations, and project quality requirements.
