Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an entry-to-mid-level Functional Area Project Management (FAPM) Engineer I to support tooling installation projects at our Phoenix facility. You will help develop schedules, budgets, and allocate resources while coordinating with subcontractors and site teams.

You will assist with compliance to OSHA and safety protocols, and maintain project documentation, reports, and change orders under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field OR 2–4 years’ experience in industrial construction.
• Knowledge of industrial tooling systems and installation processes (e.g., CNC machines, robotic systems, precision manufacturing equipment).
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for tooling installation projects.
• Lead and support the installation of industrial tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to technical specifications. Troubleshoot and recommend as needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to execute project tasks as directed.
• Monitor project progress and report variances to senior project managers.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and elevate issues to senior management as needed.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
