Job summary

Grüns is seeking a Facility Quality Assurance Leader to own and maintain the QMS, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance across the plant. You will act as SQF Practitioner and drive continuous improvement in quality programs in Roanoke, TX.

You will oversee audits, HACCP, CCP verification, corrective actions, and training across QA, ensuring traceability and product safety. The role requires strong leadership and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• FDA 21 CFR Part 111 knowledge and cGMP familiarity.
• SQF Practitioner experience and system maintenance.
• HACCP program knowledge including CCP monitoring.
• Experience with a facility Quality Management System and audits.
• Food safety and quality activities across packaging, labeling, receiving, and finishing.
• Experience supporting regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required for cross-language communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the facility QMS for food safety and quality programs.
• Serve as SQF Practitioner and lead verification and corrective actions.
• Lead Management Reviews, KPIs, CAPAs, and audits for improvement.
• Oversee HACCP program, CCP verification, and records.
• Supervise QA operations, inspections, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and approve MMRs, batch records, and product disposition.
• Manage disposition of nonconforming materials and investigations.
• Verify sanitation, environmental monitoring, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate traceability exercises and mock recalls.
• Provide QA training and promote a strong food safety culture.
