Job summary

Grüns seeks a QA leader to own the Facility Quality Management System, ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will supervise the QA department, maintain SQF certification, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires HACCP expertise, FDA knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish communication to lead teams. This on-site position at Roanoke, TX offers robust PTO and family-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 111) knowledge required.
• SQF/GFSI requirements experience and system maintenance.
• HACCP program management including CCP monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains the facility QMS for food safety and quality.
• Serves as SQF Practitioner and ensures certification compliance.
• Leads internal audits, CAPAs, and management reviews.
• Oversees HACCP program, hazard analyses, and CCP verification.
• Manages QA operations: receiving, in-process checks, and finished product inspection.
• Reviews MMRs and batch records for accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinates traceability exercises and mock recalls.
• Develops and maintains training plans for QA staff.
