Qualifications

• Read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Use of computer, smartphone, and laptop.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Asbestos Worker Certification must be held or obtained within one year of hire, training provided.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass post-offer employment test.
• Valid driver's license to operate University vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain complex machinery, equipment, and facility property to prevent damage and ensure operation.
• Perform routine and non-routine facility inspections and monitor cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot, escalate, and document issues per policy.
• Receive, inspect, inventory, and distribute deliveries to appropriate entities.
• Assist trades, crafts, vendors, and staff with construction, design, and maintenance as needed.
• Occasional after-hours call-ins and snow removal support.
• Occasional asbestos-related work, including sampling and minor glove-bag removals.
