Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking an entry-level Facilities Tech I to perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operations and safety, while ensuring compliance with Privacy/HIPAA and company policies.

The role is fully onsite in San Diego, CA, with a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule (PST). Candidates should have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, plus

Qualifications

Some knowledge of Plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
Some knowledge in hand and power tools.
Able to effectively share information within and outside of department.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and furniture.
Assist with sourcing and ordering equipment and supplies.
Maintain equipment documentation and ensure compliance.
Participate in the 24-hour security call rotation.
Perform handyman maintenance duties and basic repairs as needed.
