Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking an entry-level Facilities Tech I to perform routine maintenance on our San Diego site, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general upkeep. You will assist with equipment maintenance, supplier coordination, and cross-functional task support, contributing to a safe, efficient workplace.

Ideal candidates bring basic trade knowledge and a proactive attitude. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST, onsite with equipment provided and training on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing or verbally and support cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing and ordering equipment and supplies; coordinate projects.
• Maintain appliances and adjust thermostats; install ergonomic equipment as requested.
• Perform handyman maintenance, minor electrical work, spot painting and exterior cleanup.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
