Job summary

RTX, based in Woburn, MA, seeks a Facilities Operator to join our on-site team. You will perform grounds keeping, equipment setup, and basic maintenance under supervision to support building operations.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. The position offers competitive hourly pay and union-based employment terms. On first shift 6:00am–2:30pm, located at 225 Presidential Way, GODDARD BLDG.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or HiSET required.
• Minimum of 2 years trades training and general maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds keeping, snow operations, equipment setup, furniture movement and related tasks.
• Move and install machinery, assist in rigging and settings for millwright duties.
• Operate and move materials and products as needed; support stock delivery and removal.
• Hang wall fixtures and maintain clean work areas; follow safety rules.
• Maintain records and notify supervision of major repairs or modifications.
