Job summary

WESTPAK in Acton, MA seeks a Facilities Engineer to help plan, execute, and support the company’s growth toward opening the Boston Facility, overseeing Building Maintenance, Equipment, and Operations with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will manage HVAC and water systems, calibrations, supplier relationships, and 24/7 on‑call coverage, while maintaining 5S practices, documentation, and compliance with OSHA and related standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field.
Minimum of five years’ hands‑on facilities management experience.
Knowledge of HVAC, water systems, safety procedures (OSHA) and building systems.
Experience with Confluence & JIRA for documentation and project tracking.

Responsibilities

Schedule, maintain, and complete preventative equipment maintenance as documented by QMS.
Manage on-site HVAC and water-cooling systems; perform minor preventive maintenance.
Coordinate safety training, OSHA compliance, and vendor management.
Drive 5S, documentation, and process improvements; coordinate shipping/receiving and facilities support.
On-call 24/7 for security, alarms, leaks, and emergencies; act as first responder when needed.
Maintain relationships with external vendors and ensure work meets scope and codes.
