Job summary

Visit.org is seeking an experienced Freelance Event Specialist to manage logistics for in-person events in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The role is per-event and onsite, based locally with travel to nearby areas as needed.

You will coordinate planning meetings, set up and tear down, support staffing, guest check-in, and ensure high-quality guest experiences. Excellent English communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work onsite and manage logistics under pressure.
• Comfort traveling within the local region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event details and staffing for each engagement.
• Be onsite to set up, run, and teardown events with the onsite team.
• Manage check-in and guest experience, ensuring smooth operations.
• Escalate issues to the Events Team when needed and communicate updates.
• Pack and ship materials post-event and support post-event logistics.
