Spire Solutions, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, is seeking an Equipment Procurement Manager to oversee profitable day-to-day equipment operations at our San Marcos, TX warehouse. You’ll work with project teams to optimize procurement, leasing, and maintenance while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in construction-related roles, strong leadership, and experience with warehouse software. This onsite role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction-related experience preferred, including QA processes and warehouse leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience considered.
• Forklift Certification and OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financials, reporting, and annual budget.
• Keep warehouse and equipment operations organized and maintained.
• Collaborate with warehouse and project teams before purchasing or leasing equipment.
• Track usage; schedule maintenance and decide on replacement, sale, or repair.
• Source reputable vendors and expand services for project teams.
• Support safety programs and ensure equipment safety compliance.
• Comply with DOT regulations and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Maintain asset inventory and resolve inventory irregularities.
• Operate small equipment as needed and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Stay updated on new materials and technology to improve cost/productivity.
• Manage staff: mentoring, development goals, delegating tasks, recruiting.
