Spire Solutions, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, is seeking an Equipment Procurement Manager to oversee day-to-day equipment operations at our Tucson warehouse. You will collaborate with project teams and leadership to drive performance across projects and maintain budgets and asset inventory.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, vendor management, and cost-effective delivery of equipment to sites while growing warehouse capabilities.

Formación

• 7+ years of construction-related experience, including management of warehouse operations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain financials and reporting and prepare annual budget.
• Maintain an organized and well-maintained warehouse and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with warehouse and project teams prior to purchasing, leasing, or renting equipment.
• Track equipment usage and schedule maintenance; recommend replacement, sale, or repair.
• Source and solidify reputable vendors.
• Expand warehouse operations by pursuing additional services for project teams.
• Support safety programs and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
• Ensure on-time delivery of equipment to project sites to maximize productivity.
• Maintain current asset inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate small equipment as needed and assist with loading/unloading.
• Ensure invoices are accurately coded to project sites.
• Stay updated on new materials and equipment to improve cost/productivity.
• Manage staff including mentoring, developing goals, delegating tasks, and recruiting talent.
