Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Technician for our Raleigh, NC team. The role is onsite at a client location in Clayton, NC and involves managing hazardous waste programs on site, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering professional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to learn in a safety-conscious environment with occasional shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, the hazardous waste field.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Ability to work varied shift hours as listed.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willing to undergo screenings and background checks.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime as needed.
• PPE and safety-sensitive work around hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move supplies as necessary
• Load and organize recyclable material onto trailers
• Communicate and schedule non-hazardous waste pickups
• Oversee on-site confidential document shredding
• Escort subcontractors and drivers to work locations
• Conduct eyewash and safety shower inspections
• Trash cleanup and removal
• Drain rainwater from containment pit
• Conduct forklift inspections
• Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service
• Maintain positive attitude and good communication skills
