Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Technician to support on-site hazardous waste program management for a Raleigh, NC client location. The role involves hands-on duties, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced field service setting.

This position requires a customer-focused mindset, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, with shift hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime when needed.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move supplies as necessary.
• Load and organize recyclable material onto trailers.
• Communicate and schedule non-hazardous waste pick-ups.
• Oversee on-site confidential document shredding.
• Escort subcontractors and drivers to work locations.
• Conduct eyewash and safety shower inspections.
• Trash cleanup and removal.
• Drain rainwater from containment pit.
• Conduct forklift inspections.
• Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good communication with clients.
