Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Technician to support on-site hazardous waste programs for a client in Clayton, NC. This role requires hands-on safety-first work and regular collaboration with site teams.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading recyclable material, waste pickups scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move supplies.
• Load and organize recyclable material onto trailers.
• Communicate and schedule non-hazardous waste pick-ups.
• Oversee on-site confidential document shredding.
• Escort subcontractors and drivers to work locations.
• Conduct eyewash and safety shower inspections.
• Trash cleanup and removal.
• Drain rainwater from containment pit.
• Conduct forklift inspections.
• Provide clients with high-quality customer service.
• Maintain a positive attitude and clear communication.
