Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support Lab & OSS teams on-site at client locations, managing hazardous waste programs and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work with OSHA, RCRA, and DOT requirements, prepare waste documents, and perform safety inspections; on-call emergency response rotations are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or relevant military experience.
• Must be able to report to the Raleigh office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Valid US driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of OSHA regulations and Triumvirate Health & Safety practices.
• Prepare chemical and biological waste for shipment, including federal/state waste documents.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites and load/unload waste from vehicles.
• Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
• Occasionally perform Environmental Health and Safety audits for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to clients.
