Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a team member to assist in packaging and labelling hazardous and non-hazardous waste at client sites, with on-site spill response duties. The role includes waste pickups, bulking, and ensuring regulatory compliance while operating forklifts safely.

Ideal candidates will have HazWoper training, the ability to work with heavy equipment and a valid driver's license where required. This role involves multi-site responsibilities and continuous safety focus.

Qualifications

• Hazwoper 40-hour training required prior to hire.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some assignments.
• Ability to operate heavy and light equipment with safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Make waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Package and label waste to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in spill response on customer sites as needed.
• Operate forklifts and inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
