Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks an Environmental Specialist for Lab & OSS to support on-site hazardous waste programs for clients in the Orlando, FL area. You will manage regulatory compliance, waste documentation, and client coordination with a strong safety focus.

Responsibilities include OSHA/regulatory familiarity, waste preparation, site safety inspections, on-call emergency response, and delivering exceptional service while developing regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or relevant military experience.
• Ability to work as a team and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies.
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships.
• Overtime availability and flexibility to work Monday–Friday.
• Willing to complete a 2–3 year professional advancement program in hazardous waste management.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring PPE and readiness for Emergency Response.
• Must report to Orlando office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotations.
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Consent to background checks and drug screening, including THC; random screening post-employment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of OSHA regulations and company health and safety practices.
• Prepare chemical and biological waste for shipment with required waste documents.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites and assist loading/unloading.
• Perform safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
• Occasionally conduct EHS audits for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to clients.
• Develop state/federal regulatory expertise (RCRA, DOT, OSHA).
• Conduct spill response assessments and cleanup efforts.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response.
