Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring Environmental Services Worker to maintain clean and safe patient and office areas. Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will perform cleaning duties, including trash removal, dusting, mopping, and bathroom cleaning, with a day shift and 24-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous environmental services experience preferred with ability to work independently with minimum direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned rooms and areas to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Cleans and maintains floors and furnishings; performs dusting and bathroom cleaning.
• Completes scheduled duties efficiently and with a positive service attitude.
• Operates equipment safely and uses chemicals per established procedures.
