Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a Scientist 1 for a full-time, onsite role. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

We’re seeking curious, motivated individuals to help move science forward and protect our communities. The role involves operating GC, HPLC, ICP and other instruments, analyzing air, water and soil samples, and documenting procedures to ensure accurate laboratory records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related science.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, and ICP to analyze environmental samples.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures and observations clearly for lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
