Job summary

Pace is seeking a Scientist 1 for our environmental testing laboratory in Pennsauken, NJ. You’ll perform hands-on analysis of air, water, and soils and help ensure data integrity across critical environmental programs.

Requires a bachelor’s in Chemistry or Microbiology, with training provided. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, onsite, with comprehensive benefits and a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related science.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE.
• Willingness to be trained and follow established methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures and observations; maintain lab records.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
