Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a Scientist 1 for a full-time, onsite role. You will perform hands-on analyses in our environmental testing laboratory, operating instruments and ensuring data quality. The work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with compensation of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or related sciences is required or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE and odor exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other lab instruments.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret analytic results and maintain lab records.
• Document procedures and observations accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
