Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Scientist 1 for our Pennsauken, NJ lab. In this full-time, on-site role you will perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples using GC, HPLC, and ICP, maintaining rigorous data records and instrument upkeep.

The ideal candidate holds a chemistry or microbiology degree and is comfortable working in a lab with PPE. Training is provided to ensure safety and accuracy in processing samples daily.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a relevant science degree and training.
• Ability to operate in a lab environment with PPE and safety protocols.
• Experience or training in environmental sample analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret analytical results and document observations.
• Calibrate, maintain, and clean laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure accurate, organized laboratory records and data integrity.
