Job summary

Clean Harbors in Jacksonville, FL seeks an onsite dispatcher to organize daily dispatch of employees and equipment across locations. You’ll manage customer requests and ensure proper manpower, equipment and timely service while communicating with contractors and clients.

The role requires a 12-hour day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. onsite, handling high call volumes, data entry, and timely updates in the ALERT system to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Must have dispatch, customer service experience.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Dispatcher works 12-hour shifts (6 am–6 pm), weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle high call volumes in a fast-paced emergency response context.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, employees and outside professionals.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate daily dispatching of employees and equipment across locations.
• Coordinate incoming customer requests and ensure proper manpower and equipment for timely service.
• Log information into ALERT systems and keep clients updated.
• Communicate with contractors, clients, and regulatory officials in writing and verbally.
