Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist for our Tulsa, OK location. The role involves applying knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental requirements, interpreting data, and managing permits and reporting across multiple programs.

You will work with facility personnel, vendors, and auditors to ensure timely regulatory submissions and compliance. Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of related experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong skills in MS

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressively responsible work experience in environmental compliance, EHS, or a related field.
• Experience independently managing environmental programs, regulatory reporting, inspections, or permitting activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources, Occupational Safety, or related field, or equivalent years of job experience.
• Advanced computer skills in Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud-based applications.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Working knowledge of environmental permitting, reporting, inspection, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Environmental compliance experience in manufacturing and an environmental/EHS-related certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental requirements and programs.
• Translate compliance obligations into practical expectations for facility personnel and operations.
• Interpret SDSs, technical data, laboratory results, production information, and equipment specifications.
• Perform environmental calculations (air emissions, wastewater, tanks, TRI, etc.).
• Manage environmental programs, permits, plans, inspections, and regulatory deadlines.
• Prepare regulatory reports and coordinate permitting for new or modified equipment and facilities.
• Conduct audits, investigations, and implement corrective actions.
