Job summary

Greenheck Group, a leader in air movement and ventilation, seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist II to manage environmental programs, permits, and reporting across facilities. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical expectations for plant teams and drive continuous improvement in compliance performance.

Requirements include a 2-4 year track record in environmental compliance, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• 2-4 years of progressively responsible work experience in environmental compliance, EHS, or a related field.
• Advanced computer skills in Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and cloud-based applications.
• Experience independently managing environmental programs, regulatory reporting, inspections, or permitting activities.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned environmental compliance programs, permits, reporting, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex requirements into practical operating expectations for facility personnel and operations.
• Prepare regulatory reports and submissions and coordinate permitting for new or modified equipment, processes, and facilities.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments; investigate incidents or compliance concerns; develop corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Support sustainability, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and resource conservation projects.
