Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join the team onsite at the Franklin, LA facility. The role focuses on environmental compliance across plant operations, with emphasis on Title V, permitting, emissions monitoring, audits, and regulatory reporting.

We value proactive problem solving and adherence to Responsible Care standards. The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in Safety/OHS or related field and 3+ years of environmental experience, plus strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ related environmental experience.
• Familiarity with emissions monitoring, testing and/or CEMS.
• Planning, organization and problem solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Data management.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex technical work to support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across plant operations.
• Provide technical analysis and guidance on environmental matters to department, plant and site leadership.
• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations (air, waste, water).
• Support training and implementation of environmental procedures and regulatory changes.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and corporate reports to meet deadlines.
