Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a lab setting with testing and data collection.
• Experience with battery systems and high voltage electronics preferred.
• Experience building and testing prototypes of complex systems.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfortable with basic hand and machine shop tools; able to fabricate fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold safety, communication, accountability, timeliness, documentation and workmanship.
• Build prototypes and test articles, from bench experiments to complete HV systems; develop SOPs and best practices.
• Create test fixtures and equipment; program, operate and maintain test infrastructure; document procedures and results.
• Execute electrical and mechanical testing with attention to safety and test integrity.
• Work with design, testing, program management, supply chain and leadership to prioritize work.
• Capture build documentation, plans and test results with technical precision.
